Mythsetian Relics

I had been wanting to do this for a while and I finally got around to it. In the lore of my Sonic characters, each "house" (family) has a specific relic associated with their family that belonged to the original founder of that family - for whom the family is also named after.

From left to right:
Orb of Mythos: STATUS: Missing. Once the sacred relic of Mythos himself, the Orb of Mythos is capable of imbuing those of his bloodline with immense power and strength. However, it had a second ability that Mythos had kept secret. After Mythos attempted to turn on his fellow founders, they defeated him and sealed his relic away in a hidden location.

Staff of Arch: STATUS: With Raphaella the Ocelot. The Staff of Arch is passed down to each head of the family and because of a loss of records during the Great Purge, the full extent of it's abilities remains forgotten. It is currently wielded by Raphaella and so far it performs the normal functions of a magic staff.

Arbalest of Galen: STATUS: Missing. A result of a scientific collaboration between Mythos and Galen, the Arbalest is an advanced piece of weaponry combining the technology of Galen with the elemental powers of Mythos. It is capable of altering it's configuration to suit the person wielding it and has some form of sentience, only ever working for those of Galen bloodline. However, it was lost following the Great Purge.

Chime of Bell: STATUS: Missing. The Chime of Bell is a mysterious object of unknown origin that somehow came into the possession of Bell. When used by a member of her bloodline, a summoner is capable of bypassing the level and numerical limitations when summoning Chess Demons. It is currently sought by Pan the Goat, Bell's last living descendant.

Shew Stone of Divinus: STATUS: With Esmeralda the Fox. The Shew Stone is a smooth-egg shaped stone situated within a tree branch-like staff that allows descendants of Divinus to amplify their abilities to see into the future.

Blade of Psyche: STATUS: With Phoebe the Moonrat. The Blade of Psyche's full powers and abilities has been largely forgotten, but still functions as a capable weapon. Fearing that his overpowered psychic abilities would not mix well with the blade, Alexander chose to pass the relic on to his younger sister.

Amulet of Tilasm: STATUS: With Kabuto the Beetle. The Amulet is a sacred talisman that was carved from the shell of Tilasm himself and said to be the first talisman created by him. Like with other relics, the full extent of it's abilities have been long forgotten. Each of the six triangles can be pushed into the center of the amulet, allowing for different combinations of effects. However, the Amulet remains "locked" and dormant, unable to function unless a specific sequence of the blue triangles is entered to "unlock" the amulet.

Shroud of Mestaclocan: STATUS: With Caudata the Salamander. While it appears to be a simple cloak, the Shroud is virtually indestructible and is also capable of changing it's shape along with it's wearer.

Dagger of Cruour: STATUS: With Dezmodus the Bat. This mystical dagger once belonged to Cruour and allows members of his bloodline to easily duplicate blood, allowing them to create an infinite supply without compromising their own blood supply.

Chain of Nekros: STATUS: With Corvus the Crow. Now bound with the soul of Ravenna, Corvus' mother, the Chain is now sentient with her consciousness and is adamant in protecting her son. Aside from the that, the Chain is capable of reaching into a person's body and extracting their souls while also traveling into the underworld to collect the soul of a deceased person. It's spear tip can open up into a grappling hook and the chain can easily extend itself to a near infinite length.

Chakram of Sol: STATUS: With Arka the Eagle. Dual chakrams that can combine into one, these twin weapons can store mass amounts of solar energy, which Arka can call upon in the absence of sunlight. Any additional abilities are unknown.

Halberd of Luna: STATUS: With Chang-O the Rabbit. This halberd, like the Chakram of Sol, can store mass amounts of lunar energy, which Chang can utilize in the absence of the moon. The halberd's abilities are also dependent on the current phase of the moon. Chang often uses the staff as her primary means of travel, using her gravity powers to levitate while sitting on it much like a witch on a broom. Any additional abilities are unknown.

Ring of Nullus: STATUS: With Cipher the Lizard. The Ring allows the user to temporarily mimic the powers of a single individual. The wearer will be able to use the mimicked powers until they no longer desire to and selected a new target's power to mimic or until the individual who's abilities they have copied has reached a far enough distance from the Ring's range.

Scepter of Khemeia: STATUS: With Seren the Antelope. The Scepter allows the user to transmute living and sentient beings, something members of the Khemeia bloodline are not normally able to do. 

Damascus of Spatia: STATUS: With Kallis the Bear. The Damascus is a blade that is capable of cutting through physical space and opening portals to other dimensions. Unmastered users of Spatia magic cannot determine where the portals open to, but masters can choose where their paths cut. Kallis' ancestor used the Damascus during the Great Purge to lead other Mythsetians to the Sanctuary Zone where they lived in secret.

Anvil of Forgus: STATUS: With Vulcan the Bull. The Anvil is a powerful relic capable of forging amazing and intricate weapons for the Forgus family. It is rumored that the Anvil was also used to forge the other relics.

Flute of Tonus: STATUS: With Melody the Nightingale. The Flute allows the player to control those who hear its tune and manipulate their movements. 

Hourglass of Tempus: STATUS: With Genbu the Tortoise. Powers unknown.

Sarira of Krustallos: STATUS: With Karthikeya the Peacock. Powers unknown.

Gloves of Anima: STATUS: With Sunny the Monkey. The Gloves allow the user the remotely animate inanimate objects as well as control them entirely (normally physical contact is required to animate).

Reed of Enkauston: STATUS: With Tamoko the Squid. The Reed is used to inscribe tattoos and imbue them with their power. The ink used is supplied by an Enkauston individual.

Fang of Toxicus: STATUS: With Euryale the Viper. The Fang contains a sample of Toxicus' own venom.

Dreamcatcher of Dremen: STATUS: With Sylphina the Butterfly. Powers unknown.

Rod of Sirona: STATUS: With Barnibus the Owl. Powers unknown.

I was hoping to redesign the Staff and make it look more mage like, but I came to like the simple design I made up for it. The Chime's design is based on an old Chinese bell. Shew Stone is another name for crystal balls and I chose to put it in a staff to avoid confusion with the Orb of Mythos. The Blade's design is based off Galahad's (Silver) sword in Sonic and the Black Knight.

I immediately saw the chain and dagger as those two relics mostly because I feel chains are highly associated with necromancers - at least in appearance - and daggers were the main thing used by blood mages... aside from, you know, stabbing themselves with their staff, which I don't really even understand how Grace did that -_-' The Chain is also paired with a lantern, which I felt went along with the whole "souls" theme ad I felt it also emphasized that a soul is actually bound to the object. Sol and Luna's relics were originally just a sun and moonstone, but I couldn't help but feel they were just a little boring. Plus the two friends I showed them too both made the Pokemon joke. After I had drawn Chang with a halberd in general, I decided to make that the relic and my buddy ZetaZero suggested chakrams for Sol's relic.
