Shamrock! Aren't you just a cutie? Well I think you are! I've decided to make her Silver's love interest...not sure why, but I think that in terms of color, they would look good together. The circle was originally going to be green, but I changed it to pink since most of her is green already and the pink would be a better contrast. I think I overdid it with the plants...
Shamrock Mythos is the fourth youngest of her nine siblings and can manipulate plant life. After her eldest sister Sapphire voiced her intention to leave and go against Garnett's sadistic plans, he set Shamrock on fire as an example of what would happen to those who dared to cross him. Although her regenerative abilities allowed her to survive the attack, Shamrock was left psychologically traumatized with a fear of fire. But at the end of the day, Garnett's abuse was effective: Sapphire remained out of fear and to protect her sister from further harm.
You know, putting her as Silver's love interest isn't a bad idea. There are parallels and differences that can be exploited and emphasized on to make their relationship develop naturally.
Both have a traumatic history with fire. Silver's whole world was devastated by Iblis's flames, leaving his world empty and dead. Shamrock was burned by her brother. The only big difference is how it affected them. While Shamrock is deeply traumatized and barely does anything but hide from it, Silver takes another stance. He fights for justice in the hopes for a better tomorrow instead of hiding. Let Shamrock draw strength from that, allowing for Silver to (maybe not intentionally) help heal her emotional scars.
The only obstacle you'd have to get around are Silver's devotion to the greater good and his naivety. He may not even know that Shamrock likes him (if she is the one who "starts" things) for one. Also, Silver usually doesn't pay close attention to one person unless he really gets to know them, such as Blaze. He is a person who looks at the big picture, only paying immediate attention to one person if they are a threat or are important to some other great cause that.
As for how they meet, that I'll leave up to your creativity. I do think however, that Silver just needs a little more love, not only from fans, but from the overall Sonic group as well (there can be a lot of hate from the Sonic fan-base). He's not exactly the most...popular or well liked hedgehog on the block, know what I'm saying?
You know, I never noticed the fire thing between the two! That's really interesting and such a coincidence! And I totally know what you mean about Silver being one of the less popular characters. A pretty good even half of the fan base love him while the other hates him and I can understand why. But still since the ShamrockxSilver pairing is relatively minor and doesn't even become the focus of any of my planned stories, they're kinda taking a backseat to all the other pairings lol.
Ah, tis on the back burner, huh? That's cool and will come later, as I'm sure that Shamrock is not interested in that kind of relationship in her current state, let alone the fact I don't think she's even met Silver.
One other thing to consider I suppose. Since the Solaris project never really happened after that convoluted time travel story that is Sonic 06 (even though you did a nice job retelling the story), that could imply that Silver's world is no longer threatened by Iblis, eliminating that one piece of their similarities. Oh well, tis some food for thought though.
It's a very interesting design! At first I didn' noticed her hair was made of leaves. Though, even if her legs are made of roots/wood in comparison with the rest of her body looks quite simple IMO. Mostly because you can add details with leaves pretty much everywhere.
She is truely a precious elemental if I ever did see one, still cant believe something like that happend, Older Brothers are born first....to protect there younger sisters, and somehow sounds pretty appropriorate for Shammy here to drop a few instant growing seeds down his throat
Thanks. Yup, but Garnett isn't that kind of brother. The reason he chose to set Shamrock on fire is because he knew that she would still survive and he needs all of his siblings alive for his plans. Shamrock will no doubt feel some desire for revenge after she recovers with intensive therapy
Your welcome and seriously? and how would he have known that she would have survived that? even a small spark can grow and consume like an all mighty erupting volcano, but so you have mentioned plenty of times that in order for them to take over the world he needs all of them alive, or atleast...there powers.
Maybe in a subtle way, Nature is gentle and free but it can show a rather fiercer more intimidating face
Shamrock has a unique ability very much like Garnett's "rising from the ashes/immortality". If a majority of her body is destroyed, she will revert to a seed (now that I think about it, it's a lot like Cosmo from Sonic X). Once the seed is planted, she will return to full form in one week's time. Even if Shamrock will physically be all right, there's no way that she can just slap on a smile after her own brother set her on fire.
Garnett does require them all to be alive because they physically represent their powers. Never before in their family history has there been nine siblings of the same generation.
Ah, so even if you incincerate the forest, a seedling will continue on and come back with a very different outlook on things, But I understand exactly what you mean in that way and such, and Shamrock and Garnett are the only ons capable of doing this, only under particular situations cause like you mentioned, Ol Flare-Beak there cant come back when something like Iblis comes into play
So no Body, Mind and Soul then his plan cannot go under way, and I guess while the rest of those past generations were never this big its easy to assume this generation is going to make a difference, Azreal or Azrael and Azure are seriously sticking it right to Garnett
Exactly. Garnett needs them all alive but he also needed to set an example. Shamrock was the only way he could do that without damaging his plans. As for the case of Iblis, in that alternate future, Garnett tried to absorb Iblis, but it went the other way around instead XD
Not only have there never been 9 at one time, but their generation was foretold to bring about the destruction of the world, a destiny that Garnett fully intends on fulfilling.
So besides himself he knew if he wanted to set an example, its best to target one of the younger ones, and one such as himself that can cheat death, but somehow in that case getting absorbed and then practically being dead just says it all
Somehow Garnett and Pine maybe full force into that but Ghost there im not so sure about, silence rarely means something good, hardly a chance he would get all of them to do it willingly
Well remember that while Garnett is a phoenix with the ability to return to life after he dies, Iblis is half of a god. They generally have the same kind of powers, but Iblis is more powerful than Garnett. Garnett was just an arrogant idiot and thought that he'd be capable of taking Iblis' powers.
Ghost is a complete mystery. The fact he's mute just makes it harder for people to know what he's thinking. But so far as everyone knows, he and Pine are Garnett's main guys.
