Shadow Strikers Arc 3-4

The Shadow Strikers have been through a lot in the past few months and they're looking forward to a good, long summer vacation. Internal conflicts were resolved and a wayward demon hunter who tried to kill half the group on several occasions is now their friend. They battled a Dark Chi Wizard for magic Coins and battled 4 Demon Sorcerers that threatened their world. However, an old foe from the past resurfaces and the Shadow Strikers may face their toughest trials yet.

Linos: Human alias: Liam, Linos is a teenage demon living in the human world. He is the son of Tzan Ren, the Shadow Demon Sorcerer, and Hsian Ji, the Sound Demon Sorceress, making him a Shadow-Sound demon hybrid. His childhood has been filled with traumatic experiences growing up in a world full of demons, but his mother's love gave him the strength to pull through. Linos was banished to the human world by his father because of his love for humans. Though he managed to defeat Tzan Ren when his father came to hunt him down, Linos must now face a familiar darkness and gets to learn about a side of his family he never knew.

Timothy "Tim" Knight: Tim is Linos' best friend and a the group's hacker and smarts. He is a full-fledged Chi Wizard thanks to Mala's tutelage and is able to utilize spells to track, repel and defend against dark forces. Tim's incredibly smart and diligent, making him the first one the gang goes to when they've got a problem and need someone smart. However, what he has in intelligence and magical power, Tim greatly lacks in defence. Preparing Chi Spells often leaves him vulnerable to attack and he must rely on his teammates to protect him.

Mavis Callahan: Mavis is Linos' girlfriend and the gang's resident crazy girl. She's a proud Irish girl with a loud, energetic and boisterous personality. She loves fighting demons and any sort of adventure to distract her from the mundaneness of normal life. However, Mavis has the tendency to overlook the seriousness of many situations the group faces and doesn't always take the danger she's in seriously. Despite her eternal optimism, she still suffers from trauma from her experiences with Linos' Shadow Demon father, Tzan Ren. She also has a pet bearded dragon named Phineas.

Mala Reid: Mala is the half-human and half-demon daughter of the late Jasper Reid, a Chi Wizard, and Lang Yan, the Crystal Demon Sorceress. Though for most of her life she feared her demon heritage, she eventually came to embrace and accept it as well as eventually forgiving Drago for his past misdeeds and entering a relationship with him. She is highly knowledgeable on both demons and Chi Wizardry. She is always guarded by her sentient crystal rabbit, Pearl, and her own personal mini-army of sentient crystal wolves and crows.

Drago: Human alias: Damon Lee, Drago is the half-human and half-demon son of Shen Du, the Fire Demon Sorcerer. Drago's had a rough childhood and spent most of his life trying to gain his father's approval, though he eventually realized that was never what he wanted, at least not really. It took a while for Drago to prove himself to his new friends and gain Mala's forgiveness, but he couldn't be happier. However, if Drago thought his father-son time with dear ole dad was over, he's dead wrong.

Remington "Remy" Ryder: Remy is one of the last living descendants of the noble Ryder Clan, notorious demon hunters in ancient times. Raised by demon hunter parents, Remy swore revenge against all demons after demons killed them. Remy's obsession with demons and revenge ultimately led to him and his brother (who was against the family tradition of demon hunting) to part ways. Though Remy initially believed that all demons are evil, he eventually realized that they have just as much capacity for love and compassion as humans do for evil. He joined forces with his new friends and has tried to adjust to a more normal lifestyle. He still keeps up his demon hunter activities, but is instead choosing to hunt down anyone who is evil, human or demon.

This is the group's appearance from arc 3 onwards. You know, it's amazing how quickly and suddenly the appeal of redesigns can take you over. But hey, when you've looked at the same picture of a character for... a while, sometimes you start to wonder, maybe they should get an updated look? This has literally been sitting here just waiting to be uploaded for months! Why? Well, we felt it was too soon to show new designs given that I just posted the first group picture back in early January and we were still in arc 1 of the story. So, we made a decision to only upload this once we started arc 2 and since I posted the first chapter yesterday, I'm now free to upload this

Also, when I met Michael Rosenbaum at FanExpo, he was wearing a leather jacket over a hoodie. I was like O_O that's what I drew Drago in XD
