This should really come as no surprise... lol This was fun to do!

Ruby Rose the Wolf
Weiss Schnee the Snow Leopard
Blake Belladonna the Black Cat
Yang XiaoLong the Dragon

I made Ruby a wolf because she fought Beowulves in her trailer and wolves were the animal that (as of now) she has the greatest connection with. Weiss is a snow leopard because I wanted to use a a tundra based animal and I thought Weiss would make a very beautiful snow leopard. I chose to make Blake a cat because (even when she was still only in silhouette) the bow on her head always looked like cat ears to me. In fact it's a feature I've come to hate for that very reason and one of the things I don't like about Blake to begin with. Yang I made a dragon for obvious reasons. If you don't know that reason it's because her name is Yang XiaoLong (XiaoLong meaning "little dragon").
